GENERAL INFORMATION ON SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT

Appointments with a  Physical Therapist may be scheduled over the phone or in person, without a doctor's referral.  We advise our patients to  check with their  supplemental health insurance company to determine if a referral from a physician  is required for reimbursement of any physical therapy costs that may be billed directly to the patient.

To schedule a consultation with a Sport Medicine Physician, a doctor's referral is required, and your doctor's office must call to schedule the appointment.  Please note, the mechanism of the injury must be related to participation in a sport/fitness activity.  The physicians at the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic do not consult on injuries related to motor vehicle accident, Workers' Compensation Board Claims while practicing at the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic.

In order to schedule an appointment with a Massage Therapist at the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic, you may call 780-492-4752.  We advise our patients to  check with their  supplemental health insurance  to determine if a referral from a physician  is required for reimbursement of any massage therapy costs. Please note: Massage Therapy is provided out of our satellite clinic located at 505 College Plaza.

Our Certified Orthotist, Jim Toller, works at the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic, on Thursday mornings from 8am-11am. Appointments are also available through Orthotic Solutions, 496-9312.
