Jim Toller is a Certified Orthotist with Orthotic Solutions who provides orthotic services for patients at the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic.  He has 23 years of experience as an Orthotist and has been affiliated with the clinic for nine years.  For one half day a week Jim sees patients at the clinic where he is able to consult closely with the Physical Therapists, and Medical Staff at the clinic who have referred the patients. Referrals are also made to his private office by the Clinic staff and a collaborative treatment plan is worked out when needed. Jim has practiced in Sports Medicine since 1987 and provides a wide variety of custom and off-the-shelf orthoses for a wide  range of patient needs (ie.  shoulder orthosis, knee orthosis, foot orthosis, wrist orthosis). Along with his extensive experience, he is involved in many sports himself, which allows him further insight into patient needs. All custom orthoses are made from a cast model  or an elaborate system of measurements.  Most of the orthosis are fabricated at the Orthotic Solutions facility in Edmonton.  Each patient attending the half-day clinic or the office will have a thorough assessment performed prior to any orthotic treatment commencing. The close working relationship between Jim and the other clinic professionals ensures that each patient receives optimal treatment.
